Advanced Soft Tissue Surgery

Surgery on eyes, ears, and throat.

At Lucerne Veterinary Hospital, our veterinarians have experience performing a number of soft tissue surgeries, including surgery of the eyes, ears, GI tract,  unrinary and reproductive systems, liver, spleen, mass removals, etc - the list is long!

As always, your pet's safety remains our top priority which is why we utilize advanced anesthetic and surgical techniques.

Pets undergoing surgery will receive:

• Pre-anesthetic blood work
• IV Catheter and fluids for cardiovascular support
• Experienced monitoring, including blood pressure, ECG, pulse oximetry and capnography
• Pain medication before and after surgery

Following surgery, your pet will be kept comfortable and monitored while the effects of anesthesia wear off. As soon as it's safe for your pet to go home, we'll send them with you to recover further where they are most relaxed and comfortable - home!
